Safety
Overview
The Safety Programs Administrator is responsible for monitoring prison loss control programs, food services, environmental conditions, building and fire code compliance for both the public and private prisons. A comprehensive and systematic series of assessments, inspections follow-up actions assure that the prisons meet performance standards, contract and compliance requirements of Local, State and Federal laws.
Highlights
- Prisons audit's for compliance of American Correctional Association standards in the areas of food service, environmental conditions, and fire safety.
- Monitored monthly loss control meetings at public prisons that assess insurance loss issues, injuries and corrective action plans.
- Working closely with the Fire Safety and Sanitation Officers (FSSO) on advanced education and training to ensure a safe work environment.
- Working closely with the Quality Assurance on up-dating policy and providing guidance on fire and safety programs.
- The Fire Safety Programs Administrator is dedicated to ensuring a safe work environment through professionalism and team work through out Corrections.
