Overview Region III has 54 employees in eight different offices. The Region office is located in Las Cruces, with the four district offices and four sub-offices located in the southern part of the state. This Region covers all of southern New Mexico, from as far east as the Texas border to as far west to the Arizona border. The Region encompasses four judicial districts: the Third in Dona Ana County; the Sixth in Grant, Luna and Hidalgo Counties; the Seventh in Socorro, Catron and Sierra Counties; and the Twelfth in Otero and Lincoln Counties. Region III has four contracted and one state-run Community Corrections program. The region also has a Transitional Reporting Center, which is located in Las Cruces. The Region supervises the States Centralized Offender Payment System (COPS), which is located in the Socorro District Office. The Region has three officers certified to carry firearms. Region III also has two in-patient residential drug/alcohol treatment programs, which are located in Alamogordo and Silver City. The Otero County Counsel on Alcoholism and Alcohol Abuse (OCCAA) is a 30-90 day inpatient program and Yucca Lodge in Silver City is a 28-day in-patient treatment program. The Region has one Drug Court Program located and monitored out of the Third Judicial District Court in Las Cruces. REGION III Offices Las Cruces District Office 3A .
