Region II Special Programs
Region II Special Programs offers specialized probation and parole services for Bernalillo and Sandoval counties.
Specialized units
The Intensive Supervision Unit provides enhanced supervision for the most dangerous criminals in the region. The main goal of the unit is to reduce the risk to the community by closely monitoring these cases and providing extensive counseling and treatment. Additionally, this unit supervises high-ranking gang members and high-risk offenders.
The Sex Offender Unit oversees the probation and parole of individuals who have been convicted of sex offenses in the assigned region.
The Community Corrections Unit supervise probation and parolees who have high needs and require mental health support, within the assigned region.
